A Hospital BELOW standard and it's a PRIVATE HOSPITAL reminds me of Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre.

Recently had to utilise the services of this hospital. It was great (apart from the fact I had to be in hospital). The staff were so caring and helpful right from the domestic staff through to all the medical staff. I have never had such wonderful care and thoughtfulness as I experienced at the Central District Calvary. Nothing was too much trouble! Loved the Shepherds pie!!! Unfortunately/fortunately? I was unable to test the rest of the menu but it looked terrific! Thank you everyone for giving me such wonderful care! Lyn G.

Beautiful friendly and caring staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Paul Tilly Krista and Glenda especially in palliative care were brilliant. At such a sad time for our family they treated our family member with the greatest respect and for us, nothing was too much trouble.

Not always coherent she was left alone with all her medication on the bed waiting to be packed up. Repeatedly staff and assessment staff were told she could not be left with the responsibility of medication. Sadly this also happened at Calvary North Adelaide previously. This is a complete failure in the hospitals basic duty of care.

My mother's personal care was below acceptable. No patient should be sitting in urine and many occasions.

The staff are not at fault, it's the system that is money driven. They do the best they can which falls in the business module.

Sadly nursing is now a business. My mother spent 3 weeks here and from day 1 it was a battle to get any information, staff shrug their shoulders and say "I don't know." The Physio and Dr were caring and attentive to her needs.
